Crafted for Comfort,
Built for Wonder

Nestled in the heart of New Hampshire's White Mountains, the Majestic Timber Cottage is a charming tiny-home treehouse that defies every expectation of what "small" can be. Designed and hand-built with over four decades of craftsmanship, this is a retreat where thoughtful architecture meets the grandeur of the mountains beyond its walls.

The main floor welcomes you with a cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen — everything you need, nothing you don't. The master suite features a king-sized bed, generous storage, and a private balcony where morning coffee comes with mountain views. Upstairs, the Cub Den awaits younger adventurers with two comfortable twin beds and a sense of discovery that makes bedtime exciting.

A luxurious bathroom with standing shower, ample counter space, and thoughtful details rounds out a home that feels far larger than its footprint — and far more special than you'd expect.

The result is a tiny home that feels anything but — a space where every joint, every angle, and every material choice reflects decades of learned intuition.

Peter lives next door in an identical structure he built for himself — proof that this isn't just a rental, it's a home he believes in. He responds within an hour and takes pride in ensuring every guest's stay is memorable, comfortable, and genuinely stress-free.

This was our second time staying at the Treehouse, and we've already booked a third visit. So much thought went into the finishes and decor — and simple things such as outlet placement and light switch placement were so intuitive. A unique home away from home!

The Treehouse is one of those places that's so nice you don't want the secret to get out, but Peter and his place deserve the recognition. This house is such an upgrade to the usual motel, hotel, or cabin in the area. Sitting out on the balcony was a pleasure at night.

Sometimes these places look great in pictures and you're underwhelmed when you arrive. Not Peter's treehouse — this place was amazing, truly. The craftsmanship is fantastic, and the joy on our toddler's face when she saw her sleeping space was worth everything.
