Peter Marlowe didn't just build the Majestic Timber Cottage — he designed it from the ground up. A graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology with over 45 years of hands-on experience in the building trades, Peter brings a rare combination of architectural vision and master craftsmanship to everything he creates.
Inspired by the clean lines and natural harmony of Pacific Northwest architecture, Peter specializes in the challenge that most builders avoid: creating extraordinary spaces within compact footprints. The result is a tiny home that feels anything but — a space where every joint, every angle, and every material choice reflects decades of learned intuition.
Peter lives next door in an identical structure he built for himself — proof that this isn't just a rental, it's a home he believes in. He responds within an hour and takes pride in ensuring every guest's stay is memorable, comfortable, and genuinely stress-free.
The Majestic Timber Cottage sits in the heart of Lincoln — a four-season mountain town with more adventures per square mile than almost anywhere in New England. Minutes from Loon Mountain, surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest, and walking distance from village shops and restaurants.
Whether you're here for skiing and snowboarding in winter, hiking and zip-lining in summer, leaf-peeping in autumn, or simply breathing deeply in spring — this is the place where families come to make the kind of memories that last.
Ski, hike, zip-line, and explore — all just a short drive from your doorstep.
Lincoln sits right off Interstate 93 in the heart of the White Mountains — easy to reach from anywhere in New England and beyond.
Manchester-Boston Regional Airport offers major carriers with direct flights from across the U.S. — and it's a straight shot up I-93.
The largest airport in New England with international and domestic service. Rental cars available at the terminal — take I-93 North the entire way.
The drive up I-93 through New Hampshire is one of the most scenic interstate drives in the country — especially during fall foliage season.

This was our second time staying at the Treehouse, and we've already booked a third visit. So much thought went into the finishes and decor — and simple things such as outlet placement and light switch placement were so intuitive. A unique home away from home!
The Treehouse is one of those places that's so nice you don't want the secret to get out, but Peter and his place deserve the recognition. This house is such an upgrade to the usual motel, hotel, or cabin in the area. Sitting out on the balcony was a pleasure at night.
Sometimes these places look great in pictures and you're underwhelmed when you arrive. Not Peter's treehouse — this place was amazing, truly. The craftsmanship is fantastic, and the joy on our toddler's face when she saw her sleeping space was worth everything.
